Riv's Fall 2006 Collection by Ami Kealoha

West coasters Riv have a new collection out that builds on their Tequila-soaked mix of punk rock and LA surf culture that they've come to be known for. The design called "PCH" (Pacific Coast Highway if you didn't know) is a hand-drawn rendering of a neo-Gaucho looking dude printed on army green, black, and teal (pictured left) buttery soft tees. "Loaded," a full-chest gun design composed of ornate floral patterns on either a grey or white hand-dyed thermal, neatly fuses weaponry and baroque themes that are widely-done these days.

Although they're not quite available yet, expect them in stores like Fred Segal Man in LA, Atrium in NYC, United Arrows in Tokyo, and Coolestshop online.

Sun N0º1 Solar Activated Shirt
The initial design in a series of intelligent shirts combining fashion with technology, Moondial's Sun Nº01, limited edition zebra print tee, takes full shape a sunlight-activated image. Heat hitting the shirt reveals a lavender zebra head, lending an interactive element to an otherwise static graphic. Headed up by Sabine Seymour—Parsons professor and author of the book Fashionable Technology—Moondial created the dynamic shirt in combination...
