Sumo World Cup iPod Cases by Jacob Resneck

Sumocases
Sumo, a San Francisco-based accessory designer, has hit on a novel idea with a set of high-quality leather iPod cases featuring the national colors of several of the most popular World Cup national soccer teams. Choose from: USA, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Argentina (pictured, a Cool Hunting premiere), England, Mexico, and non-specific black.

If you’ve been in a sportsbar with even a smattering of European, Latin American or African clientele recently you’ll know that World Cup fever is building fast. The international soccer, er football, er soccer championship games are hosted in Germany this June and already fans around the world are gearing up with creative ways to show their jingoistic allegiance to their national team.

These will be available, for a limited time, in some upmarket department stores but online may be the way to go. The $40 case starts shipping 1 May 2006, for a limited three month run.

Shift Bicycle was designed by Scott Shim, Ryan Lightbody and Matt Grossman, and it won them top honors in a bicycle design competition held by the Taiwanese Government. The Windcheetah
This is the Windcheetah, the world's most advanced recumbent tricycle ever. It still remains the only trike to have set six significant speed and endurance records as well as having the honor of being exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim museum. This Hypersport model starts at $5350, other models start at $3588 respectively-- but they don't have the extensive bad...
Freestyle Magazine
I discovered the unusually frisbee-shaped Freestyle Magazine in my favorite bookshop, Athenaeum Boekhandel, on a recent trip to Amsterdam. Focused on fashion, design, art, architecture, lifestyle and frisbees, Berlin-based fashion photographer Jason McGlade created Freestyle for those who share his uninhibited spirit. In a world of rectangular publications, not only does Freestyle Magazine's circular shape set it apart, but so does its package design....
Jango Flik Fold-Up Bike
Debuting stateside at this year's Interbike Expo, Jango's Flik folding bike adds a travel-friendly model to Topeak's line of clever multi-activity cycles. After months of enjoyment riding Jango's full suspension bike, we're excited to see they've applied the same design principles to the Flik, while adding to it a patented VertiLink system (vertical six-bar linkage), ensuring a simple, two-second fold-up. As part of Jango's...
