(27 October 2009) - by Anna Carnick Adding fuel to an already fiery mystique, Maison Martin Margiela lifts just a corner of the veil surrounding the enigmatic fashion icon in the self-titled book published by Rizzoli. (15 September 2009) - Extending his brand of irreverent eclecticism, Bernhard Willhelm's new line introduces his multi-referential fantasy to a sportswear collection called Keep It Unreal. Wozzup Mutazionidinterni Design
(25 June 2009) - by Paolo Ferrarini of Future Concept Lab In Milan it's unusual to find "non-Milanese” design, meaning design that's not linear, clean or somehow a reinterpretation of classic pieces and brands. Decidedly untraditional, Wozzup Mutazionidinterni is the refreshing exception to this rule. Former set designer Luca Porcelli and Maurizio Duranti, an ex-graphic designer, founded Wozzup in 2007. They work and exhibit their furniture, paintings and objects...

Four Newly-Released Chris Marker Films
(18 June 2008) - By Michael Talbott Every self-respecting cinephile has most certainly seen the haunting 1962 "La Jetée," Chris Marker's new-wave meets sci-fi classic of post-apocalyptic Paris time travel, but few outside film students and obsessive arthouse attendees have had opportunity to catch any of his roughly 40 documentaries. Self-described as the “Best-Known Author of Unknown Movies,” the unavailability of Marker's work has been a tragic gap...

Brain Bag
(31 October 2007) - Known for stretching the fashion limits with his avant garde design for the label Undercover, Jun Takashi recently came out with this Brain Bag. I will spare you most of the puns, but for...

Shudder. Printed and packaged by the folks at Printed Matter, Inc. in Manhattan, VM has...

(01 December 2005) - A short walk from the main happenings at the Miami Beach Convention Center is Art Positions.
